About Us
SunnyBrook RV started in
Feburary 1992 manufacturing and selling travel trailers under the
SunnyBrook and Mobile Scout names.
Famous for the Aluminum Superstructure, SunnyBrook
added top-quality materials, amenities and appliances that customers
don't often find in trailers in comparable price ranges. The current
line includes conventional and fifth wheel travel trailers ranging
from 24 to 34 feet long, some of which feature slideout rooms.
SunnyBrook revived the Mobile Scout name, already well
accepted in the Southwestern states as synonymous with affordable
quality. In business from 1949 until the mid- 1970's and the largest
manufacturer of travel trailers in the Southwest, Mobile Scout still
had as many as 30,000 travel trailers in service as of 1990. This
name recognition has helped sales build strongly in the Southwest
while SunnyBrook built a dealer network in the rest of the country.
With headquarters in Indiana's Amish country, 80 percent
of SunnyBrook's manufacturing is done by Amish craftsmen who, with
personal pride, build quality into each trailer.
The combination of fine engineering, aggressive sales,
quality construction, and tasteful design leads the company to great
success and multimillion-dollar annual sales. In 1995 SunnyBrook
added a 40,000 square-foot manufacturing plant, a brand new building
planned for a modern assembly line fashioned along the lines of
the automotive industry, emphasizing cost-saving efficiency without
sacrificing individual detail. The trailers roll sideways down the
production line while workers adeptly perform their duties with
innovative overhead walkways and material storage at each station.
SunnyBrook was the pioneer in the low-to mid-priced
all-aluminum-framed trailer market, delivering a light-weight towable
RV designed to last for many, many years. Although some other companies
have tried to copy the technology, SunnyBrook continues leading
in this market.
